什麼是代謝症候群 (Metabolic Syndrome)?

👉 現代醫學定義:包括中心性肥胖、血壓升高、血糖異常、三酸甘油脂偏高、HDL 偏低等,常見於生活作息不規律、飲食不均衡、壓力大的人群。
👉 好發族群:30–60 歲族群逐漸增加,與心血管疾病、糖尿病風險高度相關。


中醫如何理解?

中醫沒有「代謝症候群」這個名詞,但會從 體質與臟腑失調 的角度解釋。常見的病機包括:

  1. 痰濕內盛 (Phlegm-Dampness accumulation)
    • 因脾失健運,飲食肥甘過多,水濕聚集
    • 表現:肥胖、舌苔厚膩、容易疲倦
  2. 肝氣鬱結 (Liver Qi stagnation)
    • 長期壓力、情志不暢,肝疏洩功能失調
    • 表現:情緒波動大、暴飲暴食、血壓偏高
  3. 腎陽不足 (Kidney Yang Deficiency)
    • 腎主代謝與能量,虛弱則寒濕內停
    • 表現:腰膝痠軟、畏寒、浮腫
  4. 陰虛火旺 (Yin Deficiency with Heat)
    • 消耗過度、睡眠不足
    • 表現:口乾舌燥、盜汗、血糖偏高

調理原則 (Treatment Principles)

  • 健脾化濕 (Strengthen Spleen & resolve dampness)
    ➜ 常用方:參苓白朮散、平胃散
  • 疏肝理氣 (Soothe Liver Qi)
    ➜ 常用方:逍遙散、柴胡疏肝散
  • 溫腎助陽 (Warm Kidney Yang)
    ➜ 常用方:右歸丸、腎氣丸
  • 滋陰清熱 (Nourish Yin, clear heat)
    ➜ 常用方:六味地黃丸、知柏地黃丸

生活養生建議 (Lifestyle Tips)

  • 飲食:少甜食、油炸,多全穀、蔬果、豆類
  • 運動:每天30分鐘快走或跑步,改善氣機運行
  • 情志:保持心情舒暢,減少壓力性進食
  • 作息:早睡早起,避免熬夜傷肝腎

What is Metabolic Syndrome?
Metabolic syndrome refers to a cluster of conditions — central obesity, high blood pressure, abnormal blood sugar, high triglycerides, and low HDL cholesterol — that raise the risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. It is closely linked to lifestyle, stress, and diet.

How TCM views it
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) does not have a direct term for “metabolic syndrome,” but explains it through imbalances in organ systems and body constitution:

  • Phlegm-Dampness accumulation → obesity, heaviness, fatigue
  • Liver Qi stagnation → stress, overeating, hypertension
  • Kidney Yang deficiency → cold intolerance, weakness, edema
  • Yin deficiency with heat → thirst, night sweats, high blood sugar

Treatment Principles

  • Strengthen Spleen and resolve dampness
  • Soothe Liver Qi
  • Warm Kidney Yang
  • Nourish Yin and clear heat

Lifestyle Tips

  • Eat light, whole-food meals; avoid excess sugar and greasy food
  • Exercise daily for at least 30 minutes (e.g., brisk walking)
  • Manage stress and emotions
  • Maintain regular sleep to support liver and kidney health
